Kitchens are the way to go if you want to customize your rom.
For example, when I do a hard reset my rom comes up with all my favorite software preinstalled and pre-registered.
It takes a while to make the customized OEMS, but once you have them set the way you want you can just drop them in just about any kitchen and cook a personized rom with not much additional effort.
