Is MSID phone number specific?

I want to change devices from the Touch to the 6700 or Mogul. Is the MSID that is displayed in the provisioning menu my MASTER MSID?

I guess what I am trying to ask is will my MSID that is displayed in the provisioning menu on my Sprint Touch work if I decided to change devices or do I always have to get a new MSID from Sprint?
