Outlook and ActiveSync have a mind of their own!

I've noticed two things that after trolling this AWESOME board I can't seem to fix.

AcitveSync: I don't mind that it's ALWAYS running in the backround of my Touch. What I do mind is that it's always syncing. I've tried several of the tricks to stop it. Like creating a Fake/Bogus Exchange server and setting ActiveSync to run manually. I've also tried setting it to only sync with USB connection. The problem I have is that when it's syncing with the PC, my PC slows down for about a minute as does my Touch rendering it virtually useless one out of every 6 mintues. I read about a Replog registry edit, but I'm not comfortable editing the registry without a .cab file.

Outlook for PPC: Randomly deleting emails after a couple days. I've been to XDA/PDAPhoneHome/Googe trying to see why I'm the only person I know having this problem. Literally after a couple of days my inbox just deletes emails. They're not in archives, in the trash folder or anywhere. I'm using a Pop3 account from Bellsouth and I always leave the read emails on the server.

Thanks for your help with this.
