After wiping cache, dalvik cache (no data) and flashing nightly 152, I was getting constant reboots. So I decided to restore a back up I'd done just before flashing, using Clockwork Mod. I unfortunately don't remember what nightly I had prior when I did that back up, but it restored successfully, with one issue. My apps that I had transferred to my microsd card were missing, They're visible in the Settings-Manage Applications area, but I am unable to actually launch via shortcuts on home screen and they do not appear in the app drawer.
I believe I may have found a solution, but I'm not 100% sure on how to implement it. It seems someone else had the exact same issue as me, and was able to resolve the issue. I'm just trying to mimic what he did. He resolution is found here:

The part where I get confused, is in this paragraph:
Quote:
I finally was about to give up. Then I was thinking if it’s possibly due to the ext4 filesystem. Finally I reformat the partition using ext2, upgraded to ext3 and perform the manual restore (using tar) and it works.

I'm not sure how to do any of that, or what the steps would be. If someone could give me a bit of a walk through, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
