Here is another option... this Keep Screen app will let you select which apps you want to avoid the time-out... all other apps will work normally with whatever screen time-out you set in the system settings. https://market.android.com/details?i...=search_result

Edit1-Ok, after further review, it seem like it might be the actual data that is shutting off, not necessarily the programs themselves. Is there a way to keep the data awake? I do not see it listed in the above app to keep alive. Thanks
Edit2- I found and turned on the setting "mobile always on" or what ever, and that seems to keep it working. I will have to see how that affects the battery. Most likely will just have to flip that setting on when I use a radio type app, and turn it off afterwords.
