Not quite... the lockscreen will still be set to 20-30 secs, so if the screen turns on by itself for some reason, it will still shut itself off after that short time. If you unlock the screen and leave it like that, then the device's screen will stay on until you turn it off.
There's probably an app that allows you to prevent certain apps from sleeping, but I haven't checked.
