Thanks to everyone who replied. I managed to figure it out when I tried again. I successfully rooted my phone which was strange cos I thought the download I used was just to upgrade to 2.2 Now that I am rooted I have no clue how to do anything but I'm trying to figure it all out. Thanks again guys, youre all awesome and very helpful.
