My goal is to remain outside of a contract, and just pick up phones through the free market. If I ever change carriers, I'll do this. Get a year old phone, and just start service.

The wife's hero is beginning to act up on her, so I found a great deal on an Evo on eBay. I paid less than the upgrade cost for the Evo Shift 4G. I just need to take the phone in to the sprint store, to fix the broken charging port. I spoke with the sprint store yesterday, and since I have TEP, they will be able to fix it for me, most likely free of charge.
You paid good money for a broken phone, expecting sprint to fix it for free?

Mmmmmkay.
