Wink Re: EB13 to EC05 with Rooted CWM, no undoing!

I'm pretty sure you don't need busybox for rooting..but not 100% sure about clockworkmod..[/QUOTE]

well the only way is installing clockwork without the busy box to find out. so i took an aventure to see if clockwork works normal without busybox. guess what? i guess it does becuase I only use clockwork to back up and restore my phone everytime i screw something up in 1 of the apps or if i get bored i do a avance restore or what ever.. and last night here is what i did.

1. install clean stock EB13
2. waited for the OTA EC05 and installed it.
3. installed one.click.root.exploitv2.5.5 as i was able to do without busybox as I mentioned before.
4. installed all my apps manually and when to clockwork and did a back up.
5. after backup i booted the phone normally everything normal..
so i went back to clockwork did a factory reset and cache clear 4 times on both and booted the phone to make sure that it was fully factory reseted. and sure it was virging stock. so for the third time went back to clockwork and went to back up and restore / avance restore and choose the back up that i made and choose DATA waited everything looked normal. and right after my phone booted everything installed all my apps were there just like if i had never done factory reset..

ok i know all you guys know all these steps above. but the only reason that i created this tutorial is just in case someone else comes here with the same issue as me of not been able to fully root the phone after the EC05 OTA update or think that clockwork will not work becuase of the busy box error... well in my case it worked. so i think clockwork works like a champ without busybox in this case anyways... but for those that want to use busy box then you will have to find a way to root the whole package.. but if iam wrong if iam wrong anyone please let me know..
