I finally rooted my phone. One reason I wanted to do it was I am having trouble with streaming video. I know sprint TV sucks in general and many people have had problems but my problem seems to be unique. I seem to have a pretty good download speed with 3g. When I try to watch a video on sprint tv or you tube the video downloads and starts off fabulous. I can see the download going on the bottom and it moves way ahead so that I should have no problems watching the video. The problem is, the video will still buffer after a little bit on sprint tv (even when it has obviously downloaded way more of the video already) and the little circle thing (buffering) will come up on the screen. On you tube it will download really fast for like 30 seconds and like half the video will be downloaded very quick but then it just seems to stop downloading and then the video catches up to the point where the downloading had gotten to and only then will it try to download the rest of the video causing it to buffer??? Could it be that I am not getting consistent 3g signal? I don't know. Do you think a new rom would help me or is there something in my settings that may be causing this issue.
