I have a tp2 now, and I'm not sold out to WM, it's been good and there are things I like about it but I think I would prefer the app store that android offers at this point. I'm not a programmer and wouldn't be writing my own stuff or flashing roms or anything like that. I am afraid that if I get a year old phone like the evo that a few months later they will finally come out with some dual core processor phones or something like that and I really would prefer to wait for something like that. Does anyone know if they plan to come out with anything like that any time soon?
Most likely in June...definitely not within 10 days...Thing is though at this point none of the dual cores will be able to use both cores anyways as they need Honeycomb..unless you plan to flash custom roms...

You can always go with an Epic, single core for single core performance the Epic is on par (If you plan to switch within 10 days)..Evo aka Super Sonic is a 2 year old phone actually..it got delayed due to issues with wimax..

Maybe I should just keep using the tp2 and wait till next year to see what has come out by then, or just go to private party phone buying.
Nvidia is promising Quad-Core phones in late 2011/early 2012 :P lol

Also, forgive my noob question, but what does froyo mean, and what is a clean ESN? Is that a way of checking an ID # on a phone to make sure it's not been reported stolen or something?
Google uses code names to name their versions..

1.5 = Cupcake
1.6 = Donut
2.0/2.1 = Eclair
2.2 = Froyo
2.3 = Gingerbread

3.0 = Honeycomb (Tablets only for now but should merge back with cellphone branch)
2.4 = Ice cream (Honeycomb/Gingerbread hybrid)

When a device is stolen or associated with an account thats in deficient funds, it gets blacklisted in Sprint's system..Clean ESN means that its not blacklisted.

Check ESN:
