There's no reason a hardreset would be required. All you have to do is undo what the CHT cab does. You can't erase files in ROM, so you all you need to delete the CHT manila files from /windows and restore some of the .xml's form \windows to \windows\manilaxml. A hardrest may be faster, but it is certainly not required.

Most ROMs have a simple method (all stock ones do). Just go to settings-system-clear storage. Enter '1234' and press yes. That will restore your phone to the state it was in right after it was flashed. You will have to reinstall all cabs, restore contacts, etc. (so make a backup of anything important and put it on the storage card or your computer).
