Apparently getting a GPS lock on a ROM that you know has a working GPS helps carry that GPS functionality over to the next ROM. I've never had any problems with my GPS so I can't really comment on whether or not this works, but like I said, I have read several posts where others have had success using this method.

Unfortunately I've tried Di18, Dk17 and DK28 and can't get gps to lock in either of them!
