I notice that you have Sprint. Do you have an airave or airvana femtocell in your house or does your neighbor have one? If you hear three beeps when you connect a call or dial *99 send, then you are withing reach of one.

I have one and from time to time I don't get any calls and my text messages don't go through. It seems to happen randomly but can also happen if I have heavy traffic on my relatively slow 5mbps DSL.

If you have an airave or airvanna, unplug the power, let it sit for a few minutes and then plug it back in. That should help for a couple days.
