That's a problem with HTC's software (probably OEMDrivers or something). The same thing will happen on both stock Sprint ROMs.

There's nothing wrong with 6.5.x builds. I've used many of the different branches in my own ROMs and do not have any of the problems being discussed here. It may be an issue of this specific ROM, but you can't generalize it to all 6.5.x SYS/ROMs.

The ringing/sound issue used to happen back in the Diamond/TouchPro days because of too many modules in Slot 0. I'm assuming leadpoizon is using the 6.5 nk.exe, so that wouldn't be the cause the problems if he is. I'm just throwing it out there in case he dumped the original sprint rom and use OEMXIPKernel from that, which could lead to those problems.
