I think at this point most development is going into functionality. Y'know, function over form? I know most people seem to care about form over function, but that's silly.
When all the main bugs have fallen and there's nothing left to do but create builds, themes will be the focus I'm sure.
With that said, there's some app that helps with theming in Android... Can't remember it now. Also
the Ultimate Guide to Themeing Android may help when we get to a point where it will matter
