Installing themes from other android phones.

Hey guys,

I was curious if I could install themes from other Android phones on our Tp2.

I guess the most important question is, What do I need to look for to see if its compatible with our TP2 android phone? And what should I avoid?

Im really interested in installing this theme Blue Energy Theme for FROYO (Android 2.2) However Im not sure really what has to be done.

Any help would be appreciated and thanked.

Imnuts I thanked you simply because you responded but your reply is not helpful at all! I know about the themes and the different home styles but I really dont like them and I bought launcher pro plus but they dont have many themes as well.


So I wanted to install some themes from other android phones like the link I posted above but Im alittle nervous as how to go about doing it.

• and how would I go about doing it?
• I notice there zip files where should I unzip them?
• maybe I may run into more ploblems which at the moment Im unaware of! So if you or anyone else has experience with this I would love some insight

Ive been looking into more themes. I wanted to instal this one too but under there directions they tell me to instal an app to a folder called "Android themes" But we dont have it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=700703

Isn't anyone else interested in changing up there theme in there phone?

I think at this point most development is going into functionality. Y'know, function over form? I know most people seem to care about form over function, but that's silly.

When all the main bugs have fallen and there's nothing left to do but create builds, themes will be the focus I'm sure.

With that said, there's some app that helps with theming in Android... Can't remember it now. Also the Ultimate Guide to Themeing Android may help when we get to a point where it will matter
