Go to "Settings", choose "Security Settings", choose "Password Lock", choose "Display" (it is a tab). Then select "Windows Default" instead of "Windows Classic".
You will need to restart the device to get it changed over, but I believe that should do it.
Hope that gets you what you need. Good luck.

It doesn't unfortunately. Any setting changes to the WM's native lockscreen - be it through the "Settings" menu or direct registry edit - are ignored by Omnia II, because Omnia II has its own locksreen. You can change the looks of Omnia II's lockscreen, but cannot change its lock from a touch lock to a sliding lock.
As I've found Omnia II's user interface not so appealing, is there anyway to disable all of Omnia II's interface? I've already switched off Samsung TouchWiz UI, but obviously it doesn't bring back all of WM's native interface (e.g., the lock screen).
