Just looked at the brochure from sprint and wear and tear is covered under the equipment and repair option. Insurance which is run through asurion covers physical damage, water damage and lost or theft. The kickstand is covered under wear and tear and that's why they replaced it. When I had the tp the keyboard failed also and that used the same type of mechanism, a spring loaded one. Sprint replaced that under the wear and tear clause 4 times until they finally gave me the tp2.
