That spot looks just like an pcs that has had too much pressure applied too one area.
That can be caused by applying to much pressure the screen ..or if there are any protruding pieces of hardware under it and you squashed the phone somehow and pinched it that could apply as well.
It also reminds me of old tft displays uggg
