My Treo 700wx was indestructible. My 3 moguls were all POS's (I bought the first one used, and the other 2 were refurbs). My hero was great, with the exception of dust under the screen. And my Evo has no issues. I do have slight screen lift in the lower left corner, but I have a case around it, and it hasn't gotten worse, or caused any issues whatsoever.

I would just drop TEP, and ESRP; signup for ERP (asurion replacement).
or even better use a different insurance company. if you own a home or rent and have renters insurance cell devices are usually covered if you follow the proper protocol.

i went in there to get it fixed and they told me the blown speaker would be free but since the camera is my fault they would have to charge me 119$....i kept my cool and told them i had nothing to do with this but the guy was honestly cool enought to hook it up no charge...
but he still said alot of stuff that breaks on the evo is usually not covered by esrp
