Using HTC Wifi Router built in to the Energy ROM. I can get a connection established just fine, but as soon as I turn off the screen it kills the connection to the computer. When I turn the screen back on I can re-establish the ad-hoc connection.

Is there something I need to do to make everything stay connected and still have the phone's screen turned off? I'm sure that the battery will last much longer that way, plus the screen will turn off on its own every min or two if I don't keep messing with it.

What am I missing?
