Regarding the Intercept - I'm sure Sprint would have some record that you already received an instant rebate through Radioshack. I can't imagine that Radioshack (or any other Sprint retailer like Bestbuy) would simply eat the cost of the rebate. But hey, if you try it out, let us know what happens.

As for the LG Rumor, from my experience, in order to get the rebate you have to have the phone activated on your line for at least 30 days (past the return period). In the past I ordered a phone and like you returned it within a week for a different phone. I had a rebate submitted for each but only received a check for the later phone.
