I'll play around with it a bit and see what I can find out.
Edit: OK, if I click on notifications, it takes me to the notification window in the FB app and I can see all the notifications. Not sure if "requests" is hanging for me because I know I have a gillion maffia wars and farmville requests that I haven't deleted but they are not showing up in the requests on the FB app on my phone.
I guess the only thing that I'm missing - and could use - is groups.
