I am seeing more and more of all the familiar names from my brief TP and TP2 flashing days of Winmo. I really liked Winmo because of it's direct ties with the PC OS. I liked the "seamless" integration with all the office stuff and the years of things that work with it like much better video player support. I just tried to cover up and ignore the lag when comparing it to friends Iphones. There's were smooth but I could actually do so much more besides novelty apps. With the 3rd party offering for home screen/launchers 6.5 for me was pretty good. It was the hardware that seemed to bog it down.
So what's everyones take on the topic? Did you jump to Android for the hardware or OS or both? I guess I gave in to my video card stance between ATI and Nvidia...whichever offers the best bang for the buck and does what I want it to do gets my pick.

Me and a co-worker got the EVO at the same time. I didn't want to switch from WimMo but I was waiting for quite some time to get a new phone and Sprint couldn't come close of course to anything matching the EVO in a Win Mo device. The internet experience and response time of applications are just fantastic. On the other hand I have had to compromise on the functionallity of the programs "I" use. Truth is while I love my EVO I will be looking to go back to WinMo depending on what Sprint offers in the future and what Win 7 can do.
