Mine actually doesnt heat up anymore but i suppose if it remains a steady temperature it fine. My situation was i couldnt even hold the phone because it would feel like it was burning my hand. You can try what i did, i turned off most of the auto update features because i think that was causing my data to constantly run. I changed most things to update every 30min to and hour other things like weather i set to every 6 hours
