Also using my Touch with bluetooth car stereo adapter and have clear sound, no tweaks.
"you are enabling A2DP from your phone right? Otherwise most devices will default to headset/handsfree mode. " posted by bedoig. When pairing with the touch make sure it recognizes it as a wireless device as well as headset, both boxes checked!
