Jmart - Thanks again for your help and being patient wsith me. And my appoplogies for not reporting back and saying thanks earlier. My niece stopped by for a few days and between hanging out with her and keeping her occupied and work, I really didn't have much time, so the wife and I hung out. LOL
A couple things happened that maybe I didn't quite do it right with CFC gui, or I did it right and I didn't know because I'm not tech savy like you guys here. But I had CFC gui downloaded already, so I jumped to #2. It wanted me to choose a folder or location to use, hit cancel, 'cause you said I didn't need to worry about it. It closed the window. Reopened the app, and selected the root (C:\). After it finished opening, I completed #3-4. It gave me a dialog box of what it was doing, but I never saw any files come across on the main/big screen. I also noticed boxes on the lower right hand corner, which I tried to hit CFC Compress and Extract from Device, and it didn't seem to do anything. Also, I did not see any interaction in the area on the lower left corner of the screen. Nor did I really notice anything different on my device after I selected "Finish Up" and followed the questions. What am I doing wrong/neglecting?
(just for Shlitz-&-giggles) - theoretically, do you think one would be able to have a double compression? i.e. take a ROM that has CFC compression cooked in already, and manually CFC compress it? LOL I think I already know the answer to that one. Just thought I could get some eyes to roll and some heads to shake on that one...
