It was at the time, if you wanted a high-res phone with a 1GHz processor. And if LG does not bring those of their phones that are desirable here, that kinda proves my point anyway.
From my experience with Motorolas, I would not call their products desirable either, but that's just me.
Really, if I felt like searching through GSMArena or some place like that, I could come up with more high-end phones that never made it to the US.
The point is that in contradiction to the post I originally replied to, US market does not matter all that much to many manufacturers (Nokia? Sony-Ericsson? Sharp?), and does not matter at all to others (Seen many Panasonic oк Toshiba/Fujitsu phones here?).
Not to get into a flamewar about mobile OSs or respective mertis of different manufacturers, but as much as I like my TP2, HTC isn't the be-all end-all brand either. I'm still waiting for anyone to release a modern phone in SCH-i760 form factor and with thу same build quality...
