Re: Upgrading from $30 SERO to Evo 4g...Best Plan?

My question is, when I am forced to change plans, what is the absolute best plan that I can get that will be somewhat comparable in value to my current SERO plan?

If you are not familiar with the $30 SERO plan, I get 500 anytime minutes, unlimited nights and weekends starting at 7pm, unlimited text, and unlimited data. I never go over my 500 minutes b/c I'm mainly a texter/data user.

I'm sure there are plenty others out there wondering the same thing as me, so any help here will be greatly appreciated!

EPRP, it's $59.99 for 500 mins instead of $69.99 for 450 mins. Plus you get transfered to employee customer care if you ever call with any issues.

It is considered the replacement plan to SERO $30. You may also qualify for a reocurring $20 credit for 2 years, if you ask nicely.

With taxes my SERO $30 came out to $43, my EPRP is $53 and since I got the EVO, they've added the $10 Premium Data to my plan.

But consider this; the EPRP includes "any mobile, any network, any time", so essentially all your calls to any mobile phones are free any time. You get unlimited MMS/SMS and data, plus access to the more robust data servers. Nights & Weekends start at 7pm. Essentially similar to SERO for $20 +/-.

hope that helps,

-CC

EDIT: YMMV, try these;
