If you want to luxury of owning it (or for that matter, any other product out there in the marketplace) then you need to pay what the product's creator/inventor charges. If you think it's a monopoly, write parliament in the UK (where cmonex lives) and file a complaint. But from a legal standpoint, cmonex can charge you whatever she wants since she wrote the code.
