its a rate hike, may as well just start calling it what it is. since we can probably assume the $10 fee is going to be on all smartphones going forward its a rate hike. verizon, att, and tmobile have all charged more for smartphone data for no reason for quite some time now. sprint probably figured, if they can do it why can't we and get an extra $10/month, hell we're still cheaper than most of them.
so its going to be a rate hike and theyre introducing now with the Evo because they figure they can get away with it, and then in the next few months when new smartphones come out, they'll have an extra $10 charge for "premium" smartphone data
