Ok, so I found a couple of threads regarding this in other forums, but didn't find any solutions.
I have an unlocked tmo HD2 and it's showing as Blackberry 7290.
I wanted to keep my $10 family data plan (as I have done so with a g1 and a usc tp2), but instead I get a blackberry data plan.
I get around this by switching to a regular phone from time to time, but this is too annoying.
Does anyone else have this problem?
