I still think it's like I suggested earlier, WM6.1 apps extracted and implanted into a WM6 base. Then some goofball went and hexedited some version numbers, adds a modified HTC Home, and packages it as "WM6.1".

Even this really early test version of WM6.1 at this site is such an early build that it's built on a WM6 core (5.2.1620), and that's only 3-days old.

I don't think what you guys have is even a beta OS. I'll personally wait till a "pure", unadulterated release version is extracted from the ROM of a shipping device.
