Not true. When the PPC 6700 first launched, there was no pic mail app, and no work around. Pic mail just flat out wouldn't work on it (the Sprint version, the Verizon version had it).

Someone came up with a solution after a while, but Sprint eventually blocked it. Someone then came up with a different pic mail app after a while, but the PPC 6700 was pretty much dead at that point anyway.
