true, i suppose there could be some greasing of palms that would help move Tegra along but Nvidia can't just give away hardware like Microsoft can give away software. But even if Nvidia were to start bribing or become more competitive with Qualcomm over pricing manufacturers would still have to be convinced to use it and i'm sure there are some design differences that the manufacturers would have to get off their butts and figure out.
Actually speaking of Qualcomm, what if they're bribing manufacturers not to use Tegra in an effort to hold it off until Snapdragon became mainstream, because Snapdragon is relatively new (by comparison) and Tegra has been available to manufacturers for what more than a year now? So Qualcomm bribes manufacturers to stay away from Tegra until Snapdragon hit the mainstream market.
