I think with PDA Net trial you can't get BT to work, just the USB connection, so one little more sacrifice for you: buy it.
you don't need to have PAM for 700wx, with PDA Net is just as simple and normal, and BT will limit your connection speed anyway below 1 mbs, even on the USB you can only achieve a few Mbs, and I noticed freezing problems only appear when I try to dl something, so figured that this is somehow related to the traffic volume rtather to any PDA net bugs, i.e. Sprint may be looking in some way to limit allocated bdwith per time frame, but I have no scientific proof, just a thought..
