When you said it wouldn't connect to the computer...did you try putting your phone into bootloader mode? (Power+VolDown+Reset if phone is on, or just power+voldown when it was shut off)

Didn't even know that was an option, the things I learn from this forum is great, though wish it wasnt in the blood of my TP2 lol
