This is wrong. It doesn't even come with 6.5 stock. It's 6.1. There are several upgrades that are not here as well. The keyboard is vastly improved, the overall build quality of the device is also vastly improved, call quality is better, speakerphone is 100x clearer and is also louder, 3.5mm headphone jack, better sliding mechanism, much longer battery life, and a more responsive screen (especially on the corners).

This is another thing I've never seen a negative review on. Most people say that it's the best hardware keyboard they've ever seen on a mobile device, and I tend to agree with that. Not having a tab key is trivial compared to the improvements made on the ease of use.

Not really a big deal. It's not HUGE, and for having this much screen real estate and that nice of a keyboard with tilt, I'd take the extra bulk any day.

This is probably the only thing I agree on. Not having a flash kinda sucks. Not so much for the camera, but I liked using it as a flashlight.

IMHO, you can't even compare it to the TP1. I had so many headaches with that phone that I started to really dislike it after a few months. The battery died fairly quickly, the build quality was sub-par, and the screen was just too small to enjoy VGA. I absolutely love the TP2. I loved the TP1 for only a couple months.

interesting, i was under the impression it came with 6.5. i see that it does not.

i agree that the build quality is greatly improved and it does run much smoother. however with the same processor, it can still only compute so fast.

i have never had a problem with my kb, though i do see many that have so i'm not sure how to comment on this. i have seen a few people complain about the tab key, for me this was something fairly big to complain about as i use it often on websites.

the speaker phone is greatly improved thanks to the noise cancelling 2nd mic. this is a feature i would have really like on the tp1. and the addition of the 3.5mm jack was a great idea.

but overall (after paying for the tp1), i just can't justify the price of the tp2, with or without a contract. if the tp2 was going for $100 with a contract extention, that would be one thing, but $350 with a new contract?

if you got this as a replacement for the tp1 thats a different story but for the average phone junky, paying for the tp1, then full price for the tp2, the differences just aren't enough to sway someone like myself.

but i think i'm one of the luck few with little to no problems with the tp1.
