Sorry all I was away. I ended up switching to a new phone. For what its worth I did try multiple RUU's from one from XDA, 1 hosted here, and another on geekme site. Sprint just took back my old Hero and gave me a new one....
I am still curious what happed before I try to do this to the new one.
