did you buy the phone from an individual or from sprint? im thinking based on that statement/question, you're under the impression that your phone is unlocked. the answer is yes and no. your SIM device is somewhat unlocked (can only use it outside the US but not while in the country using at&t and such). but to flash to another ROM, you'll have to unlock your radio.
