They SAY that there is no memory effect with lithium ion batteries. But that's definitely not true.

Its just not a permanent memory effect.

Example. I charge my phone every night, no matter how full it is because sometimes the alarm won't go off otherwise. After doing this for a few nights, my battery will drop MUCH quicker than normal and I'll have to let it discharge fully and then recharge it again to get my battery life back.

Its still got a memory effect but its not permanent like the older batteries.
