Do do this, you have to have registry editor and edit the following registry keys:
HKCU_Software\HTC\TaskManager\ExclusiveList\
Remove Opera9.EXE and Opera9L.exe from this list
HKCU_Software\HTC\TaskManager\TerminateProcess\
Add DWord named Opera9.exe and set value to 1
Add DWord named Opera9L.exe and set value to 1
Do a soft reset and then when you click on the X, it will close Opera9 instead of minimizing it.
This should take care of the Opera10 error message you are seeing.
