I found the answer. The link information for the HTC Home Sprint plug in is contained in two .xml documents in the \Windows folder; ql_skin_p.xml and ql_skin_l.xml (for portrait and landscape).
Edit the appropriate line in these documents, the path and the executable name for Live Search was incorrect after the update and needs to be changed.
I made the changes directly using Total Commander and pointed right to the LiveSearch.exe, or you can use the method in this post:
