I live on the road and it is my only phone. I had to go buy a new phone because I needed a working phone for my trip. I now have all the info off the old one. I would rather fix this and return the new phone and wait for the next generation to come out.
I can get to the files through active sync but it is not syncing. I thought if i could flash to the OEM sprint and then exchange it that might be best. I have been having problems with the phone never ringing.
I know your gonna flame me and tell me to just go get an iphone that any idiot can run, But this is really costing me some coin for the new phone and new contract.
On top of which Sprint tells me that I have to pay extra for internet sharing on this TP2 that i bought. ugh! this sucks!
Flame away, just please help

Go to
this page and download the "HTC Touch Diamond™ (Sprint) Maintenance Release – Version 2.00.651.7". Turn the phone off. Press and hold volume down. Press and hold the power button while still holding volume down. When you get the tri-color screen, connect phone to usb port on computer. Run the file that you downloaded to get the sprint ROM on there. Don't worry about trying to get an activesync connection, it will work fine in the bootloader mode (which is the mode you get to by holding vol. down and power button).
