Re: vibrate and backlit issues
No I don't hold the droid from top. I'm not even touching it and the keyboard is off and bottom buttons off. It is random. Like I do have auto brightness on but the backlight keyboard and bottom keys problem seems random. Not when light in room changes. That makes no difference.
I have advance task killer but have nothing running anyway so that's not the problem.
Sometimes the only way for me to get the buttons and keyboard to light up is sleep the phone using the top power button then wake it up.
I would use swype over any other keyboard but only with stylus. That's the only way I can see. Because the stylus is only using a small tip not like big fingers that cover way more space. We have a touchscreen gps 4.3" screen that's TFT and it dame with a stylus so I am going to see if it will work. The gps is not resistive. So I'll see.
Is there anyway to disable google talk from ever running? It's always running when I start the droid and I have to manually kill it. I have no use for it as I will never use google talk. Ever.
I have no screen protector.
