I thought that flashing the phone after unlocking it did something like free up memory or something like that, but I'm not sure now with the TP2. I've read a lot of the stickied forums, but was just wondering if someone could give a quick pros and cons list of unlocking if I wasn't planning on using anything but a stock rom. I just wish Sprint would come out with WM6.5 with Sense UI so I could have some of the extra nice features.
It unlocks your phone so you can use an unsigned ROM. That is the only advantage. So if you stick with a signed ROM like the official WM6.5 release for Sprint, there is no point in unlocking.
