I would try a couple of different things.
First I would probably delete the partnership between the PC and phone and reestablish it. I'm running Vista these days so I'm not quite sure how to do this anymore but I'm pretty sure you just go up in to the file menu or whereabouts and select delete partnerships or some such similarly labeled item.
Try that and see if it works, if not, let us know.
