Re: Favorites - why does the Favorite's list automatically fill up ?

Ok, I see a little more now:

I long pressed on one of the MANY contacts listed under my favorites (from all of the contacts that i have called or received a call from that were automatically placed in the favorites list) - I chose to add to favorites (even though they were under the fave's already) ...

Then the contact chosen as added to the Top of the Favorites list - with all of the others that were auto-added under the newly designated Favorite (manually designated) with all of the others (auto-added) now listed as "Frequently Called" .

This makes more sense but my Favorites list is still essentially "full of contacts" - just that the ones I designate as a Fave show up 1st , so if I only want 3 contacts in my Fave's for instance - the list will still have a ton of contacts since it adds all contacts every called to the "Frequently Called" list that's below the Favorites!

Is there any way to make the Favorites list only show those contacts that you want designated as a Favorite regardless if you called a contact in the past or not?

Now I think I'm really seeing why so many folks like the Sense UI by HTC, my wife's Eris with more screens and other features (Music controls w/o unlocking the phone) are really shining over the Droid which seems sorta clunky, maybe it's just me.

I guess the Nexus One doesn't have HTC's Sense UI, so maybe I should wait for a HTC similar to the Nexus One with Sense UI (like the Eris but with a larger screen , better video recording , faster processor) .....

Unless there's an easy way to setup the Faves (with just the few contacts you would like) with the Droid , access Music Controls w/o unlocking the Droid - in other words, maybe there are ways to do these things like I can on the Eris but I'm just not finding them (i don't know much about phones obviously so all of this is new to me & I'm spending way more time than i ever expected, these phones are addictive, hehe).

Thanks!
