You shouldnt need to use GPSGate for Gamrin Mobile XT, and I dont think you need it for iGo8 either. I am 100% sure you dont need it for Mobile XT as I use mobile XT on my TP2 everyday, and I dont have to use GPSgate. Just set mobile xt to use the "intermediate driver"...it should be fine.
